DR. CARLA COBURN

Dr. Carla is a strong teacher of the Word, an author, a prayer warrior, and she has a passion for evangelizing the lost.  Carla has a strong prophetic calling on her life with a focus on intercessory prayer and warfare. She has accepted her calling as an Intercessor and Watchman for the Body of Christ. Because of this, she passionately promotes intimate time with God to hear His voice and get strategies for winning the battles that we often face. She is the founder of the prayer ministry, “The Prayer Storm,” which are nights devoted to prayer, intercession, warfare, and deliverance, both corporately and individually. She says, "The Prayer Storm has a unique way of teaching and activating people to pray. It eliminates the unknown of prayer and shows how to enter into the Holy of Holies and build true relationship with God." These prayer nights have been powerful and life changing for many. Dr. Carla is the author of "It's Time to Shift," which is a biblical change model for those who desire more from God.  She's a spiritual mentor to many young leaders and a pioneer for collaboration across the region.  She has birthed interdeminational ministries including Shift Colorado whcih brings Christian leaders together to change the atmosphere of the region and Women of Royal Distinction which is a cross cultural women's ministry.  Carla grew up in the Denver Metro area and received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Public Relations from Regis University, and her Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Theology and Biblical Studies from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology. She is a professional in the Information Technology field with a local city government agency.
